It is a tradition at our school to celebrate international literacy day. On this day, in association with Pratham Books (https://prathambooks.org/blog/one-day-one-story-returns-for-a-10th-season/) we conduct read alouds and story sessions. Children of various classes were given this years stories “Satya, Watch Out!, ” and Puchku Seeks a Song, to enact or read out. Some teachers also conducted read alouds with the children. This event has been motivating many children to get into a reading habit and enjoy stories simply for the pleasure of it.
